Goa, India (Urban Transport News): Kineco Group has announced that its IRIS-certified Rail Division has been granted a Patent from the Indian Patent Office for its novel innovation of “Eccentric Assembly for Sliding Door”, invented by its in-house Product Design & Development Centre .
Kineco in-house Product Design & Development Centre was created in 2019 with an aim to indigenously develop advanced systems for world-class train coaches for Indian and global markets. The centre is being spearheaded by global experts of train technologies and consists of cross-functional engineering team of designers & specialists from various engineering disciplines.
While the alignment of the door leaf through conventional assemblies is time-consuming, difficult and burdensome, with this patented invention of a sliding door assembly, not only will the automatic sliding door be more compact, but aligning the door will be much more effective, making it easy to install and operate. The patented assembly will be primarily used by Kineco as compartment doors for trains, however, it can be used for all types of Automatic Sliding doors, across diverse transportation applications as well for commercial use like Hospitals, Industries or offices.
