Rail Infra and Mobility Business Association India
The Rail Infra and Mobility Business Association India (RIMBAI) is a proposed group of the industry engaged in the urban rail infrastructure and mobility business playing a proactive role in the development process of India. RIMBAI will be formulated as a non-political, industry-led and industry-managed association under the banner of Urban Transport News. It will be the only Indian network to bring together all urban rail, smart mobility and transport stakeholders in all sustainable transport modes.
Objectives
The main objective of the Rail Infra and Mobility Business Association India (RIMBAI) will be to provide a common platform for all rail and urban transport operators, think tanks, research organisations and solution providers for sharing experience, information, best practices, innovations etc. to nurture excellence in performance.
Focus Area
This association will also undertake and promote techno-economic studies and research. It will also work towards safeguarding the interest and rights of urban transport operators and stakeholders and will be a resource tank of information for decision-making. Some of the major activities and services of RIMBAI will be-
- Representation of the Railways, Construction, Urban Transport and Mobility industry’s interests to the Government and other beneficiaries
- Providing opportunities for dialogue and networking between members, including a number of Special Interest Groups
- Supply chain improvement initiatives including export promotional activity, through briefings, visits overseas, hosting inwards visits etc.
- Work closely with Government on policy issues, interfacing with thought leaders, and enhancing efficiency, competitiveness and business opportunities for the industry through a range of specialized services and strategic global linkages.

Eligibility
Any industry, organisation or individual professional can be a member of the RIMBAI subject to its business or business unit(s) is/are being run in India.

Annual Membership Fee
- For government orgnisations: INR 50,000/- (USD 1000)
- For private organisations: INR 1,50,000/- (USD 3000)
- For individual professionals: INR 25,000/- (USD 500)
