Noida, India (Urban Transport News): Noida Metro Rail Corporation Limited (NMRC) on December 28, 2021 opened the financial bids for the contract package NGNC-01 for the construction of 9.605 km extension of Aqua Line of Noida Metro Rail Project from Noida Sector-51 to Greater Noida Sector-2.
As per the financial bid results, Gurugram-based firm GR Infraprojects Limited emerged as lowest bidder by beating two major infra firms. The financial position of each participant/bidder is as under:-
However, the third bidder Sam India Builtwell did not qualify the terms of contract in technical round. Hence, their price bid not opened.
Tender notice for the civil contract package NGNC-01 was invited by the NMRC many times and the last tender notice was issued in May 2021. Technical bids were opened in June 2021 and a total of three bids received. The estimated cost of the contract package is Rs 563.04 crore.
The scope of work includes Part Design and Construction of Elevated Viaduct and 5 elevated stations viz Noida Sector-122, Noida Sector 123, Greater Noida Sector-4, Ecotech-12 (Tech Zone) and Greater Noida Sector-2 (excluding Architectural finishing Works and PEB works of stations) from Chainage 0.00 m to Chainage 9605 m of Noida -Greater Noida Metro Rail Project.
Delhi Metro Rail Corporation Limited (DMRC) is working as General Consultant (GC) and Project Management Consultant (PMC) for the Noida -Greater Noida Metro Rail Project.
