Bluwheelz and Sun Mobility collaborate to drive sustainable Urban Transportation

New Delhi, India (Urban Transport News): Sun Mobility, a pioneering provider of sustainable urban mobility solutions, has joined hands with Bluwheelz, a dynamic startup in the electric mobility sector. This collaboration represents a significant step forward in promoting clean and sustainable urban transportation. By integrating Sun Mobility's cutting-edge electric vehicle (EV) technology into Bluwheelz's fleet, the company can tap into Sun Mobility’s battery swapping solution based on Battery-as-a-service and Mobility-as-a-service.

Over the next 12 months, the two companies have ambitious plans to deploy more than 15,000 electric two-wheelers and 1000 electric three-wheelers in metropolitan cities. Additionally, Sun Mobility aims to retrofit over 1000 of BluWheelz's existing 4-wheel loader fleet into electric vehicles within the same timeframe. Deployment has already commenced in Delhi, with nearly 500 vehicles now on the city's roads. Operations are expected to expand to cities like Bengaluru and Hyderabad shortly. The primary objectives of this partnership are to reduce emissions, alleviate congestion, and enhance last-mile connectivity in urban areas.

Sun Mobility boasts an extensive network of approximately 600 swap stations across the country. Bluwheelz customers will benefit from a seamless and convenient battery swapping experience as a result of this partnership. The collaboration underscores the commitment of both companies to providing efficient and sustainable transportation solutions that cater to the evolving needs of modern cities.
