New Delhi, India (Urban Transport News): National Capital Region Transport Corporation Ltd (NCRTC) recently opened the financial bids for the General Consultancy contract for the 106.5 km Delhi-SNB_Alwar RRTS Corridor.
As per the financial bid result, a consortium comprising SYSTRA MVA, Egis Rail and Consulting Engineers Group emerged as the lowest bidder by beating three other consortia. The financial positions of each bidder are as under:-
The consortium of SYSTRA – EGIS – CEG JV was selected as the preferred bidder through the Quality and Cost-Based Selection (QCBS) method after adding technical & financial scores. The score earned by each bidder is as under:-
The brief scope of work includes providing general consultancy services for the proposed 106.5 km RRTS corridor connecting Delhi-Gurugram-SNB with 16 stations at Sarai Kale Khan, INA, Munirka, Aerocity, Udyog Vihar, Gurugram Sector 17, Rajiv Chowk, Kherki Daula, Manesar, Panchgaon, Bilaspur, Dharuhera, MBIR, Rewari, Bawal and Shahjahanpur – Neemrana – Behrod (SNB).
Tender notice for General Consultancy work was issued in October 2020 and Technical bids were opened in November 2021. Financial bids were opened on June 9, 2022.
Now all bids have been sent for final evaluation by the tender committee.
The first civil contract for this corridor is already awarded to GR Infraprojects in November 2020 but there is no progress seen on the ground.
