NCRTC invites tenders for construction of viaduct and RRTS stations in UP

New Delhi (Urban Transport News): The National Capital Region Transport Corporation Limited (NCRTC) invites online bids from eligible Bidders for the construction of viaducts, RRTS stations and completion of following civil works contract package, subject to compliance with Asian Development Bank (ADB) polices and requirements:-

Work Description

Package 3: Construction of elevated viaduct from Duhai EPE to Shatabdi Nagar and seven Nos. of elevated Stations viz., Murad Nagar, Modi Nagar South, Modi Nagar North, Meerut South, Partapur, Rithani & Shatabdi Nagar [excluding Architectural Finishing & Pre-engineered steel roof structure of Stations] of Delhi–Meerut Regional Rapid Transit System (RRTS) Corridor. Lot 1: DM/CN/COR-OF/058, LOT P3L1:- Construction of elevated viaduct from Duhai (EPE) to start of Modi Nagar North and 2 elevated RRTS stations viz. Murad Nagar & Modi Nagar South [Excluding Architectural Finishing & Preengineered steel roof structure of Stations] of Delhi–Ghaziabad–Meerut RRTS Corridor. Lot 2: DM/CN/COR-OF/059, LOT P3L2:- Construction of elevated viaduct from start of Modi Nagar North Station to Shatabdi Nagar Station and 5 elevated RRTS stations viz. Modi Nagar North, Meerut South, Partapur, Rithani & Shatabdi Nagar [Excluding Architectural Finishing & Pre-engineered steel roof structure of Stations] of Delhi–Ghaziabad–Meerut RRTS Corridor.

Eligibility Criteria

To be qualified for the contract package, the bidder should as a minimum meet the following requirements:

• The bidder must have minimum average annual construction turnover of INR 6,883 million (for Lot 1) and INR 8,782 million (for Lot 2) calculated as total certified payments received for contracts in progress or completed, within the last five (5) years;
• The bidder must demonstrate that its financial resources meet or exceed the total requirement for the subject contract of INR 1,147 million (Lot 1) and INR1,464 million (Lot 2);
• Participation as a contractor or JV partner in similar works for infrastructure projects in buildings/airport/road/metro railways/high speed railways/light-railways/railways/dams/tunnel/power sector that have been completed or substantially completed within the last seven (7) years ending the last day of the month previous to the month of bid submission.

Bidding Process

Open Competitive Bidding (OCB) - International will be conducted in accordance with ADB’s Single Stage- Two Envelope Bidding Procedure and is open to all Bidders from eligible countries as described in the Bidding Document.
