Bhopal, India (Urban Transport News): The Madhya Pradesh Metro Rail Corporation Limited (MPRCL) issued a global tender notice for the supply of 750 V DC 3rd Rail and electrical System for Bhopal Metro Rail Project.

Bhopal Metro is a total network of 95.03 km proposed Maas Rapit Transit System in the capital of city of Madhya Pradesh.
The Rail system is a means of providing electric traction power to trains and the system uses an additional rail which is known as "conductor rail" for its work . The conductor rail is placed on the sleeper ends mostly located outside of the running rails. However, a central rail is used in some cases.
