Mumbai, India (Urban Transport News): The Mumbai Metropolitan Region Development Authority (MMRDA) today published the 19th edition of "Basic Transport and Communications Statistics for MMR - December 2020". This edition was unveiled by R.A.Rajeev (Metropolitan Commissioner, MMRDA) at the MMRDA's New Administrative Building in Bandra-Kurla Complex (BKC), Mumbai.
The book covers significant data pertaining to transport and communications sectors in the Mumbai Metropolitan Region (MMR). Along with the data about Metro/Monorail corridors, this publication also covers the Time Series Data of transport statistics, and it contains research about the transport network in MMR & Comprehensive Transport Studies.
"The Comprehensive Transport Studies (CTS) are conducted by the MMRDA experts & the publication of such data becomes an essential help for the urban planners to find transport-related solutions In the MMR," said MMRDA in a statement.
The aim to launch transport-related data is to keep updating the transport community which continues to look for more and relevant information vis-à-vis the transportation in MMR.
