HSRIC launches Internship Programme in Bullet Train Technology in India

New Delhi, India (Urban Transport News): With an aim to promote innovation and develop indigenous capabilities amongst aspiring students, The High-Speed Railways Innovation Center (HSRIC) has launched an internship programme in High-Speed Rail Technology popularly known as Bullet Train, for the engagement of interns.

Purpose of Internship Programme

The internship programme intends to provide an opportunity for aspirants to secure first hand and practical work experience in specialized fields of High-Speed Rail Technology, Public-Private Partnership (PPP) in HSR, Use of Internet of Things (IoT) & Data analytics in HSR system, Inter-modal connectivity, etc under the guidance of a qualified and experienced supervisors/mentors.

The High-Speed Railways Innovation Center (HSRIC) will also spotlight National High Speed Rail Corporation Limited (NHSRCL)’s commitment towards building a self-reliant nation providing cost-effective solutions to high-speed rail transportation.

Who can apply

Students pursuing Ph.D/M.Tech/M.E./M.Arch/MBA & 4th year students of B.Tech/B.E./B.Arch, 4th/5th year students of B.E/B.Tech/M.E/M.Tech/dual Degree are eligible to apply under this internship programme. 

This programme is open for only Indian students from recognized universities in India.

Duration of programme

The minimum duration of the internship shall be of two months and may be extended depending on the performance of the candidate during the internship period.

The HSRIC will also provide a certificate of appreciation to the interns on successful completion of the internship and submission of a report.

How to Apply

Interested and eligible students need to submit application as per the below schedules:-

1st January to 15th January 1st April to 30th June
1st April to 15th April 1st July to 30th September
1st July to 15th July 1st October to 31st December
1st October to 15th October 1st January to 31st March

 

The application need to be sponsored/forwarded by the Sponsoring Institute only. Application received direct or any other Institute shall be rejected.

HSRIC is an innovation centre established by the NHSRCL. The centre has a mandate to undertake targeted, applied collaborative research to solve issues raised by rail industry to enhance railway safety, reliability, productivity, efficiency & sustainability ensuring customer satisfaction.
