Gujarat Metro Recruitment 2021: The Gujarat Metro Rail Corporation Limited (GMRC) invites applications from qualified and experienced candidates for the following posts for Ahmedabad Metro Rail Project (Phase 1 & 2) and Surat Metro Rail Project (Phase 1).

Vacancy details

Chief General Manager/General Manager (Civil) - 8 posts

  • Eligibility: B.E./B. Tech. in Civil Engineering from a Govt. recognized University/ Institute with a minimum of 60% marks/equivalent CGPA.
  • Experience: Minimum 20 years of Post Qualification experience in a reputed private organization of Civil Engineering or 17 years Post Qualification experience in Govt/PSU’s in the field of Planning / Design / Execution / Contractual Matters of Viaducts / Tunnels / Underground Structures / Depots / Tracks / Railways / Highways / Bridges or large Civil Engineering Projects.
  • Age Limit: between 45 and 55 years
  • Pay Scale: ₹120,000‐280,000/-

Additional General Manager (Civil) - 2 posts

  • Eligibility: B.E./B. Tech. in Civil Engineering from a Govt. recognized University/ Institute with a minimum of 60% marks/equivalent CGPA.
  • Experience: Minimum 18 years of Post Qualification experience in a reputed private organization of Civil Engineering or 15 years Post Qualification experience in Govt/PSU’s in Planning / Design / Execution / Contractual Matters of Viaducts / Tunnels / Underground Structures /  Depots / Tracks / Railways / Highways / Bridges or large Civil Engineering Projects.
  • Age Limit: between 43 and 53 years
  • Pay Scale: ₹100,000‐260,000/-

Additional General Manager (Architect) - 1 post

  • Eligibility: B. Arch. Graduate from a Govt. recognized University/ Institute with a minimum of 60% marks/equivalent CGPA.
  • Experience: Minimum 18 years of Post Qualification experience in a reputed private organization of Civil Engineering or 15 years Post Qualification experience in Govt/PSU’s in planning & design of elevated/underground Metro stations and checking conformity of station layout to NBC/NFPA standards.
  • Age Limit: between 43 and 53 years
  • Pay Scale: ₹100,000‐260,000/-

Joint General Manager (Civil) - 2 posts

  • Eligibility: B.E./B. Tech. in Civil Engineering from a Govt. recognized University/ Institute with a minimum of 60% marks/equivalent CGPA.
  • Experience: Minimum 16 years of Post Qualification experience in a reputed private organization of Civil Engineering or 14 years Post Qualification experience in Govt/PSU’s in Planning / Design / Execution / Contractual Matters of Viaducts / Tunnels / Underground Structures /  Depots / Tracks / Railways / Highways / Bridges or large Civil Engineering Projects.

  • Eligibility: B. Plan. from a Govt. recognized University/ Institute with a minimum of 60% marks/equivalent CGPA.
  • Experience: Minimum 9 years of Post Qualification experience in a reputed private organization of Civil Engineering or 7 years Post Qualification experience in Govt/PSU’s in Transport planning/Urban Planning.
  • Age Limit: between 30 and 40 years
  • Pay Scale: ₹60,000‐180,000/-

General Manager (Electrical/Rolling Stock – Electrical) - 3 posts

  • Eligibility: B.E./B. Tech (Electrical/ Electrical & Electronics / Applied Electronics / Industrial Electronics / Power Electronics/Instrumentation or equivalent) engineering graduate from a Govt. recognized University/Institute.
  • Experience: Minimum 20 years of Post Qualification experience in a reputed private organization or 17 years Post Qualification experience in Govt/PSU’s in planning, preparation of technical specification, administration of contracts, installation, testing, commissioning and statutory approvals of the electric system in railways/metros/ other PSUs/ private sector.
  • Age Limit: between 45 and 55 years
  • Pay Scale: ₹120,000‐280,000/-

General Manager (Operations & Maintenance) - 1 post

  • Eligibility: B.E./B. Tech (Electrical/ Electrical & Electronics / Applied Electronics / Industrial Electronics / Power Electronics/Instrumentation or equivalent) engineering graduate from a Govt. recognized University/Institute.
  • Experience: Minimum 20 years of Post Qualification experience in a reputed private organization or 17 years Post Qualification experience in Govt/PSU’s in the field of Train Operations & Maintenance of Railway/Metro.  
  • Age Limit: between 45 and 55 years
  • Pay Scale: ₹120,000‐280,000/-

Sr. Deputy General Manager (Signaling) - 1 post

  • Eligibility:  B.E./B. Tech (Electronics & Communication/Electrical) engineering graduate from a Govt. recognized University/Institute.
  • Experience: Minimum 15 years of Post Qualification experience in a reputed organization in installation, testing & commissioning of Signaling system works in Railway Systems / Metro / LRT / Suburban Rail etc.
  • Age Limit: between 38 and 48 years
  • Pay Scale: ₹80,000‐220,000/-

Deputy General Manager (Safety) - 1 post

  • Eligibility:  B.E. / B. Tech (Civil/Electrical/Safety) engineering graduate from a Govt. recognized University/Institute.
  • Experience: Minimum 10 years of Post Qualification experience in a reputed organization in Safety Management or similar in Metro/Rail Network.
  • Age Limit: between 35 and 45 years
  • Pay Scale: ₹70,000‐200,000/-

Deputy General Manager (Rolling Stock) - 1 post

  • Eligibility:  B.E. / B. Tech (Civil/Electrical/Safety) engineering graduate from a Govt. recognized University/Institute.
  • Experience: Minimum 10 years of Post Qualification experience in a reputed organization in planning, preparation of technical specification, administration of contracts, installation, testing, commissioning and statutory approvals of the electric rolling stock of railways / metros/ other PSUs/ private sector dealing with Rolling Stock Systems. Also he/she should be conversant with the international competitive bidding process, computerized environment working and latest rolling stock technologies in urban & suburban environment.
  • Age Limit: between 35 and 45 years
  • Pay Scale: ₹70,000‐200,000/-
