Ahmedabd city to ply 1000 electric buses in next two years

Ahmedabad (Urban Transport News): The Ahmedabad municipal corporation is going to start 50 electric buses, apart from this, there are plans to run such 1000 buses in the city in two years. These buses are smoke-free and will also be eco-friendly.

As soon as the battery is charging, the circular route of RTO will be completed from 35km. A new battery charging will be installed at RNP Bus Depot of Ahmedabad, which will have binary chains in 120 seconds. Ahmedabad city's customized design model was presented during the Vibrant Gujarat Trade Show.

It is being told that by the end of this year, Ahmedabad's public transport network aims to launch 350 electric buses with 'Circuit-F' and 'Circuit-S'.
