Tender issued for construction of Modipuram depot for Delhi-Meerut RRTS Project

New Delhi, India (Urban Transport News): The National Capital Region Transport Corporation Limited (NCRTC) has issued tender notice for the construction of Depot-cum-Workshop building at Modipuram for Delhi-Meerut RRTS project.

Scope of Work

Construction of Depot cum Workshop buildings for Modipuram Depot (including Architectural Finishing, PEB, E AND M and Road works) of Delhi - Ghaziabad - Meerut RRTS Corridor.

  • The tender documents can be downloaded from the Government e-procurement portal from 28.10.2021 (16:00 hrs) to 09.12.2021 (up to 15:00 hrs).
  • The bids can be submitted online on e-procurement portal from 02.12.2021 (15:00 hrs) to deadline for submission of bids i.e. 09.12.2022 (up to 15:00 hrs).
  • Pre-bid Meeting is scheduled on 11.11.2021 at 11.00 hrs.
  • Technical Bid will be opened online on 09.12.2022 at 17.00 hrs (IST) at NCRTC Gati Shakti Bhawan, INA, New Delhi.

The Government of India (GoI) has received an ODA loan from the Asian Development Bank (ADB) towards the cost of this project.

The 82.15 km Delhi-Meerut RRTS Corridor will connect Sarai Kale Khan (in Delhi) to Meerut (in Uttar Pradesh) with 16 stations. The estimated cost of this high speed rail project is INR 30,274 Crores.
