New Delhi, India (Urban Transport News): The National Capital Region Transport Corporation Limited (NCRTC) has issued tender notice for the construction of Depot-cum-Workshop building at Modipuram for Delhi-Meerut RRTS project.

The Government of India (GoI) has received an ODA loan from the Asian Development Bank (ADB) towards the cost of this project.
The 82.15 km Delhi-Meerut RRTS Corridor will connect Sarai Kale Khan (in Delhi) to Meerut (in Uttar Pradesh) with 16 stations. The estimated cost of this high speed rail project is INR 30,274 Crores.
