Technical bids of contract package 5A and 6 of Delhi-Meerut RRTS opened

New Delhi, India: The National Capital Region Transport Corporation (NCRTC) has recently opened technical bids and revealed bidders who submitted their bids against civil contract package 5A and package 6 of the Delhi-Meerut RRTS corridor. The names of bidders of each contract package are as under:

Contract Package 5A

  • Opening Date of Technical Bids: 08.06.2020
  • Tender No.: DM/DC/COR-OF/078
  • Total Nos. of Bidders participated: 6 (Six)
  • Name of Bidders: IRCON International Ltd, ISGEC Heavy Engineering Ltd., Ahluwalia Contracts (India) Ltd, Sam (India) Builtwell Pvt. Ltd, URC Construction Pvt Ltd, Vijay Nirman Company Pvt. Ltd.
  • Scope of Work: Construction of Depot cum Workshop near Duhai RRTS Station (including Architectural Finishing, PEB, E&M and Road works) of Delhi – Ghaziabad – Meerut RRTS Corridor
  • Present Status: Under evaluation

Contract Package 6

  • Opening Date of Technical Bids: 03.06.2020
  • Tender No.: DM/DC/COR-OF/095
  • Total Nos. of Bidders participated: 5 (Five)
  • Name of Bidders: Tata Projects Ltd, Larsen & Toubro (L&T), Afcons Infrastructure Ltd, GR Infraprojects Ltd, Dilip Buildcon – Sam (India) Builtwell JV
  • Scope of Work: Construction of elevated viaduct from Sarai Kale Khan station to New Ashok Nagar DN Ramp including Jangpura Entry ramp and two Nos. of elevated stations viz., Sarai Kale Khan & New Ashok Nagar [including Pre-engineered steel roof structure but excluding Architectural Finishing of Stations] of Delhi – Meerut Regional Rapid Transit System (RRTS) Corridor.
  • Present Status: Under evaluation

On 12th June 2020, NCRTC opened financial bids of civil contract package 4 whereby Chinese engineering firm Shanghai Tunnel Engineering Co. (STEC) emerged as the lowest bidder among five other civil contractors. The tender is under evaluation stage and LoA not yet issued due to tension arise between India and China after the killing of 20 Indian Soldiers by the People's Liberation Army (PLA) in an unprecedented attack on Monday in Ladakh's Galwan Valley.
