New Delhi, India (Urban Transport News): Delhi Metro Rail Corporation Limited has awarded the electrification contract worth Rs 23.97 crores to Salasar Techno Engineering Pvt. Ltd. for the supply and installation of 25KV OHE electrification and SCADA system under Package DE-02 at Ajronda and Sarita Vihar train depots.
The price bids of this contract package were opened on 23rd January 2021 where Salasar Techno Engineering emerged as the lowest bidder among the other five bidders. The financial position of each bidder is as under:-
However, the sixth bidder Premco Rail Engineers Ltd. had not found eligible as per the terms of the tender notice during the technical evaluation. Hence, their financial bids were not opened.
The tender notice was issued in October 2020 with an estimate of Rs 23.97 crores. Technical bids were opened on 16th October 2020.
The scope of work includes Part Design, Supply, Installation, Testing and Commissioning of 25 kV Flexible Overhead Equipment and SCADA system for Remodelling of Ajronda and Sarita Vihar Depots of Delhi Metro's Phase – IV. The contractor has to complete the work in three years (36 months).
This contract package will also be funded by the Japanese financial institution Japan International Cooperation Agency (JICA). Kirti Structural Consultants will provide detailed design consultancy services for the remodeling of both depots.
