New Delhi, India (Urban Transport News): The National High Speed Rail Corporation Limited (NHSRCL) in last month has awarded three contracts to various firms to carry out route alignment survey and prepare design for assisting in preparation of detailed proejct report (DPR) of proposed 865-km long Delhi-Varanasi High Speed Rail corridor in India.
The three contracts which are awarded to various firms that were emerged as the lowest bidder (L1) after the opening of the financial bids are as under:-
1. Ahmedabad based Translink Infrastructure Consultants Pvt. Ltd. was awarded the contract worth Rs 34.99 lakh for the preparation of General Arrangement Drawings (GADs) of Crossing Bridges over Rivers, Canals, Railways and Roads (Expressway, NH and SH and Major District Roads) and GADs of proposed Stations and Maintenance Depots of Delhi-Varanasi HSR Corridor.
The tender (No. NHSRCL/CO/CONT./GAD/2020/12) was published in July 2020 by NHSRCL and technical bids were opened on 29th July 2020 where a total of 25 bidders were participated. The financial bids were opened 17th August 2020. The firm has to complete the work in 3 months from the date of issuance of the letter of acceptance (LoA).
2. Nagpur based Ceinsys Tech Limited was awarded the contract worth Rs 23.39 lakh for carrying out Data Collection and Associated Survey Work for preparation of DPR of Delhi-Varanasi HSR Corridor.
The tender (No. NHSRCL/CO/CONTRACT/DATA COLLECTION/2020/10) was published in June 2020 by NHSRCL and technical bids were opened on 7th August 2020 where a total of 9 bidders were participated. The financial bids were opened 24th August 2020. The firm has to complete the work in 4 months from the date of issuance of the letter of acceptance (LoA).
3. Indore based Aarvee Associates Architects Engineers and Consultants Pvt. Ltd. was awarded the contract worth Rs 7.92 crores for Final Alignment design including Aerial LiDAR survey and other related works of Delhi-Varanasi HSR Corridor.
The tender (No. NHSRCL/LIDAR/2020/15) was published in July 2020 by NHSRCL and technical bids were opened on 11th August 2020 where a total of 4 bidders were participated. The financial bids were opened 24th August 2020. The firm has to complete the work in 5 months from the date of issuance of the letter of acceptance (LoA).
The another contract which was floated in July 2020 in now pending for finalisation in respect to carrying out the environmental impact assessment (EIA) study. However, technical bids were already opened on 11th August 2020 and a total of 8 bidders were submitted their bids.
The Delhi-Varanasi High Speed Rail Corridor will connect New Delhi to Varanasi through 12 stations.
