New Delhi, India (Urban Transport News): The National High Speed Rail Corporation Limited (NHSRCL) has recently opened the financial bids for four contracts floated for carrying out preparatory work for the proposed 886-km Delhi-Ahmedabad High Speed Rail corridor.
As per the financial bid result announced by NCRTC, the following firms emerged as the lowest bidder and expected to receive the letter of acceptance (LoA) soon. The financial position of all participants/bidders are as under:
1. T&T Consultants Pvt. Ltd. emerged as the lowest bidder for carrying out ridership study for preparing the detailed project report of the Delhi-Ahmedabad High Speed Rail corridor. The firm had quoted Rs 47.65 lakh to win the bid whereas RITES Ltd. and Urban Mass Transit Company Ltd. were quoted Rs 68.88 lakh and Rs 85.12 lakh respectively. The financial bids were opened on 16th October 2020.
2. RITES – Geokno JV emerged as the lowest bidder for preparing the final alignment design and carrying out Aerial LiDAR Survey for preparing the detailed project report of the Delhi-Ahmedabad High Speed Rail corridor. The consortium had quoted Rs 16.86 crore to win the bid whereas SECON Ltd. and Monarch Surveyors and Engineering Consultants Pvt. Ltd. were quoted Rs 17.20 crore and Rs 17.94 crore respectively. However, the fourth bidder Detect Technologies found disqualified. The financial bids were opened on 20th October 2020.
3. Aakar Abhinav Consultants Pvt. Ltd. emerged as the lowest bidder for preparing General Alignment Drawings (GADs) of crossing bridges over Rivers/Canals/Railways and Roads including GADs of proposed stations and maintenance depot for preparing the detailed project report of the Delhi-Ahmedabad High Speed Rail corridor. The firm had quoted Rs 34.20 lakh to win the bid whereas Holtec Consulting Pvt. Ltd. and LKT Engineering Consultants Ltd. were quoted Rs 44.80 lakh and Rs 49.00 lakh respectively. The financial bids were opened on 4th November 2020.
4. Ceinsys Tech Ltd. emerged as the lowest bidder for carrying out data collection and associated survey work for preparing the detailed project report of the Delhi-Ahmedabad High Speed Rail corridor. The firm had quoted Rs 32.72 lakh to win the bid whereas Highway Engineering Magnitude Consortium and SATRA Services and Solutions Pvt. Ltd. were quoted Rs 43.00 lakh and Rs 45.20 lakh respectively. The financial bids were opened on 5th November 2020.
The 886 km long Delhi-Ahmedabad High Speed Rail corridor will connect Delhi to Ahmedabad via Jaipur and Udaipur with 12 stations.
