New Delhi, India (Urban Transport News): The National High Speed Rail Corporation Limited (NHSRCL) has recently awarded various consultancy contracts in respect to preparing the detailed project reports of the new proposed High-Speed Rail corridors in India.
The consortium consisting of GPS Technologies Pvt. Ltd and Shri Krishna Enviro-Global Engineering Services Pvt. Ltd has been awarded the contract for carrying out the Environmental Impact Assessment Study/Field Work and Preparation of the Environment Impact Assessment Report & Environment Management Plan for the 711-km Mumbai-Hyderabad High Speed Rail Corridor.
The consortium consisting of Aarvee Associates Architects, Engineers and Consultants Pvt. Ltd and GSL Associates Pvt Ltd have been awarded the contract for preparing the final alignment design including Aerial LiDAR survey and other related works for the 459-km Delhi-Amritsar High Speed Rail Corridor and 435-km Chennai-Mysore High Speed Rail Corridor.
The consortium consisting of Overseas Min-Tech Consultant and Fortress Infracon Limited has been awarded the contract for carrying out the Environmental Impact Assessment Study/Field Work and the Preparation of the Environment Impact Assessment Report & Environment Management Plan for the 435-km Chennai-Mysore High Speed Rail Corridor and 760-km Varanasi-Howrah High Speed Rail Corridor.
The consortium consisting of Enviro Infra Solutions Pvt. Ltd. and R S Enviro Link Technologies Pvt. Ltd has been awarded the contract for carrying out the Environmental Impact Assessment Study/Field Work and Preparation of the Environment Impact Assessment Report & Environment Management Plan for the 459-km Delhi-Amritsar High Speed Rail Corridor.
The consortium consisting of Egis India Consulting Engineers Pvt. Ltd. and J S Environics Consultants Pvt Ltd has been awarded the contract for conducting Survey/Field Work and Preparation of Detailed Social Impact Assessment (SIA)/Resettlement Action Plan (RAP) for the 711-km Mumbai-Hyderabad High Speed Rail Corridor.
The NHSRCL has been given responsibilities to prepare the detailed project report of seven more high-speed rail corridors in India.
