Gurgaon needs more buses in order to meets the city demand

Gurugram: The city which has become a leading financial and industrial hub which gives the third highest capital income in India. Most of the working people highly rely on private transportation like buses, taxi, cab etc. In order to meet the demands of bus commuters, Gurugram needs to run buses anywhere between 1,000 to 2,000. Meanwhile, the city has already built numerous flyovers and underpasses which have also got a number of new roads.

But somehow, the conservation around buses always takes needed at large scale. Which you can easily saw through a morning or evening stroll at Rajiv Chowk that how desperately people in the city need buses as they climb atop buses just so they can sit. Even after the development of a number of metro projects, bullet train, pod taxi, monorail. A bus system will be still the backbone of any city. India needs to learn from London that how they maintain feeder service to the mass transit system. Why are the services of a bus system required at a larger scale? The main effects are as follow:

Improves road safety: As per Indian research found that the city bus system in Indore found that bus service saves, on an average, six lives every year in the city. This data is analyzed on the fact which was prior to the starting of bus services in Indore. While people who were using autos and two-wheelers were involved in road accidents as compared to buses. Therefore from the above research, we can conclude that buses were safer than other modes of transport.

Reduces air pollution: There is some proven evidence which shows that bus systems help to improve air quality in two ways. First one is by shifting people to public transport which helps in reducing the total vehicle kilometers traveled (VKT) because one bus carries 60 passengers which is more than that of any other vehicles like car, taxi etc. And the Second helps in reducing pollutions by reducing the number of vehicles.

Shapes urban development: A newly bus transit system from Janmarg, Ahmedabad’s bus stand. Which results in rapid development, which has never, happen before
