Godrej Interio bags contracts worth ₹250 crore for three Metro Rail projects

New Delhi, India (Urban Transport News): India’s leading furniture solutions brand Godrej Interio has recently bagged contracts worth 250 crores for the three metro projects located in Mumbai, Bengaluru and Kochi. With this deal, the company is now part of four metro rail projects across the country, including Kolkata Metro.

The scope of work for the metro rail projects includes carrying out the civil finishes, cladding, block works, facade glazing, metal ceiling, aluminum louvers, structural steelworks, plumbing, railing and horticulture. The contracts include nine stations for Mumbai Metro which will connect on Line 2A from Dahisar to Kamraj Nagar neighborhoods; 12 stations for Bangalore Metro's Reach 3 and Reach 5 connecting HSR Layout to Bommasandra, and two stations of Kochi Metro's Line-1.

The contracts awarded by Delhi Metro Rail Corporation Limited (DMRCL) for Mumbai Metro, Bangalore Metro Rail Corporation Limited (BMRCL) for Bangalore Metro, and Kochi Metro Rail Limited for the Kochi Metro Rail project.
