Patna, India (Urabn Transport News): The Delhi Metro Rail Corporation Limited (DMRC) which is responsible for implementation of Phase 1 of Patna Metro Rail Project revealed that they have received four bids from the major elerical firms for the supply of the 25KV Overhead Equipment (OHE) electrification system for the project.
Technical bids were opened in mid-October and the name of following firms were revealed:
The scope of work includes SITC of 25KV Overhead Equipment (OHE) System, Switching Posts, 33KV Ring mains, Auxiliary Sub stations for Elevated Sections and SCADA System for Underground and Elevated sections for Corridor 1 and 2 and ISBT Depot of Patna Metro Rail Project.
Tender for the above work under contract package PE-03 was invited in July with an estimated cost of work of Rs 144.65 crore and completion period of 3 years. This is third electrification contract for Patna Metro Rail Project.
The previous two contract packages have been already awarded.
KEC International was awarded the contract (package PE-01) worth Rs 92.22 crore for Design, Supply, Installation, Testing and Commissioning of Receiving cum Traction (RSS + TSS) and Auxiliary Main Substation (ASS) including High Voltage Cabling from Grid Substation for Patna Metro Rail Project in July, 2021.
Tuaman Engineering was awarded the contract (package PE-02) worth Rs 92.22 crore for Design & commissioning of Electrical and Mechanical (E&M) systems, Fire detection, Fire suppression system and DG sets of Corridor-1 and Corridor-2 Elevated stations and Depot in August, 2021.
