Hyderabad, India (Urban Transport News): The Commissioner for Metro Rail Safety (CMRS), Janak Kumar Garg and his team have concluded a 3-day inspection of new upgrades at various metro rail stations across 3 corridors from 16th to 18th February 2021. The corridors include Miyapur to LB Nagar (Corridor 1), JBS to MGBS (Corridor 2) and Nagole to Raidurg (Corridor 3).
During this activity, CMRS inspected the effectiveness of the new upgrades to signalling and train control system across three metro rail corridors. This integrated system will add operational efficiency to the entire metro corridor network leading to the seamless operation of metro services. The inspection also included various civil works at the entry and exits and newly commissioned elevators and escalators at a few metro stations. CMRS has expressed satisfaction with the overall performance of the systems and related works and sanctioned his approval with a certificate of compliance.

All three corridors of Phase 1 of Hyderabad Metro Rail are being operated and maintained by L&T Metro Rail (Hyderabad) Limited.
