New Delhi, India (Urban Transport News): The Delhi Metro Rail Corporation Limited (DMRC) invites online bids for conducting a Traffic and Transportation study for the extension of Noida Metro from Depot Station to Bodaki Railway Station.
Traffic and Transportation study for the preparation of detailed project report (DPR) for extension of Noida Metro (Aqua Line) from Depot Station to Bodaki Railway Station. The Traffic & Transportation aspect of this work involves the collection of socioeconomic, land use, traffic & travel data from secondary sources as well as conducting primary traffic & travel surveys. The scope can be divided into two segments:
Under the scope of the selected consultant will have to conduct a transportation and traffic study of a 3.8 km route between Depot Metro Station and Bodaki Railway Station. The Noida authority wants to extend this Metro link so that in future passengers, who want to reach the railway station and industrial areas in Bodaki can get better connectivity via the upcoming Metro link.
