Chennai, India (Urban Transport News): The Chennai Metro Rail Limited (CMRL) invites online tenders for the construction of 26.09 km corridor-4 of Phase II of the Chennai Metro Rail project.
The Government of India has applied for financing from the Asian Infrastructure Investment Bank (AIIB) toward the cost of construction of the Corridor-4 of Chennai Metro Rail project and intends to apply part of the proceeds toward payments under these contract packages.
The procurement will be conducted through the International Open Competitive Tendering (IoCT) method as specified in the AIIB’s “Procurement Instructions for Recipient, June 2016”, and is open to all eligible Tenderers.
