Nagpur, India (Urban Transport News): The Maharashtra Metro Rail Corporation (Maha Metro) has installed a unique Mass Spring System (MSS) at the Zero Mile Station of Nagpur Metro project for the mitigation of vibration, caused due to train movement. "Such a floating track slab on the viaduct has been executed for the first time in any metro projects across the country. The system absorbs any vibration and thus reduces vibration being passed on to the metro building," said the official release.
