Technical bids of contract package 7 and 8 of Delhi-Meerut RRTS opened

New Delhi, India: The National Capital Region Transport Corporation (NCRTC) has recently opened technical bids and revealed bidders who submitted their bids against civil contract package 7 and package 8 of the Delhi-Meerut RRTS corridor.

Civil Contract Package 7

  • Opening Date of Technical Bids: 10.07.2020
  • Tender No.: DM/DC/COR-OF/108
  • Total Nos. of Bidders participated: 5 (Five)
  • Name of Bidders: Larsen & Toubro Limited (L&T), Afcons Infrastructure Limited, Consortium of Dilip Buildcon – Sam India Builtwell JV, Dineshchandra R. Agrawal Infracon Limited and NCC Limited.
  • Scope of Work: Construction of 12 km elevated viaduct from the end of Shatabdi Nagar Station to Brahmpuri DN ramp and from Begumpul UP Ramp to Modipuram end including Modipuram Depot entry Ramp and 5 elevated stations of Delhi – Ghaziabad – Meerut RRTS Corridor of NCRTC.
  • Present Status: Under evaluation

Civil Contract Package 8

  • Opening Date of Technical Bids: 14.07.2020
  • Tender No.: DM/DC/COR-OF/099
  • Total Nos. of Bidders participated: 5 (Five)
  • Name of Bidders: Larsen & Toubro Limited (L&T), Afcons Infrastructure Limited, Gulermak Agir Sanayi Insaat ve Taahh. A.S. (Gulermak), Shanghai Tunnel Engineering Co., Ltd. (STEC) and, consortium of Yapı Merkezi İnşaat ve Sanayi A.Ş. – Tata Projects Limited.
  • Scope of Work: Design and Construction of 5.68 km Tunnels by TBM from near Brahampuri DN Ramp to Begumpul UP Ramp and 3 Under Ground Stations at Meerut Central, Bhaisali & Begumpul by Cut & Cover Method including Architectural Finishing and Design, supply, installation, testing and commissioning of Electrical and Mechanical Systems including Fire detection & suppression System and Hydraulic systems on Delhi – Ghaziabad – Meerut Corridor. of NCRTC.
  • Present Status: Under evaluation

The technical bids of both packages are now under evaluation stage and the NCRTC will open the financial bids of each after found them technically suitable. Based on the technical as well as financial bids and the quoted value by bidders, the lowest bidder will be decided.
