About the project

The Duhai depot will feed the RRTS trains for the Delhi-Ghaziabad-Meerut RRTS project, which is being funded by the Asian Development Bank (ADB). Hence, the Open International competitive bidding will be conducted in accordance with ADB’s Single Stage- Two Envelope Bidding Procedure and is open to all Bidders from eligible countries. Only eligible bidders with the following qualifications can participate in this bidding process:

  • The bidder must have minimum average annual construction turnover of Rs 2,940 million calculated as total certified payments received for contracts in progress or completed, within the last 5 years;
  • The bidder must demonstrate that its financial resources meet or exceed the total the subject contract of Rs 490 million;
  • Participation as a contractor or JV partner for similar nature of Works in Industrial/Commercial/Institutional Buildings that have been completed or substantially completed within the last 10 years ending the last day of the month previous to the month of bid submission.
